Our longtime client Brian Dunn broke ground recently on his $38.2 million, five-acre facility for Great Divide, on Brighton Blvd. in RiNo. Xan has been behind the scenes from the start, Melissa Friday is working as Creative Director for the project and closely advising Brian during the construction. Marley Hodgson and Dan Long of Mad Greens fast casual restaurants came to Xan for help in creating what they called, “Mad Greens 2.0”. The space brand goals for Mad Greens 2.0 included functional improvements to the food prep line, and the customer experience, along with a new look and feel for the interior that speaks to the owner’s dedication to healthy, locally sourced ingredients. The Mad Greens brand is focused on better eating, with a tongue in cheek delivery of menu items like the Crazy Ivan, and Ty Cobb salads. We re-designed the look and feel with a more natural take on the current graphic brand. The first Mad Greens that will feature the new design will be in the Arapahoe Plaza, in Centennial, Colorado. Here you see some materials samples and renderings of the space.
Finally, Illegal Pete’s is opening a location of its popular Mexican food, bar and live music venue in Fort Collins. Our first project with Pete Turner was his South Broadway location. This Illegal Pete’s will be located in the popular Old Town district, in what was formerly a Goodwill location. It will feature a rooftop addition, along with a 2000 square foot rooftop patio. Take a look at the before photos of the space, we do love crunchy old buildings! Stay tuned for future updates.
“Confluence Denver, is an online publication about the people, ideas and innovators creating a world-class city desirable to the creative class.” Check out the new feature on Xan. “There are architecture companies that design restaurants, but we offer a different level of expertise and involvement throughout the project that sets us apart,” Melissa Friday explains.
Where can you get delicious biscuits, a crispy NY slice, and yummy craft beer? Longtime fixture on Colfax, Atomic Cowboy is expanding their brand to South Broadway.
